New Publishing House Full Set Aims to Redefine Nonfiction Genre<\/span><\/h1>\n

Publishing industry veteran <\/span>Eoin Purcell<\/b>, who spent more than ten years at Amazon Publishing leading its European operations from London, has announced the launch of <\/span>Full Set<\/b>, a new independent <\/span>nonfiction publishing<\/b><\/a> house based in Dublin. The company aims to combine the strengths of traditional book publishing with the audience-focused approach commonly used in modern journalism.<\/span><\/p>\n

Purcell has cofounded the venture with <\/span>Blathnaid Healy<\/b>, an Emmy Award\u2013winning news editor with experience at major global outlets including the BBC and CNN.<\/span><\/p>\n

Focus on Current Affairs and Business Publishing<\/span><\/h2>\n

Complete Set will concentrate on <\/span>current affairs and business nonfiction<\/b>, publishing both full-length books and shorter, essay-style works. The founders are currently developing their debut list, which is expected to roll out in <\/span>late 2026<\/b> and include <\/span>between two and six titles<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The publishing model is designed to be flexible. It allows ideas to reach readers in formats that reflect how audiences consume information today.<\/span><\/p>\n

Technology and Marketing at the Core<\/span><\/h2>\n

Purcell and Healy plan to rely heavily on <\/span>digital tools and technology-driven marketing<\/b> to promote their books. According to Healy, the modern information landscape is increasingly fragmented and fast-moving. It makes it essential for publishers to adapt their outreach strategies.<\/span><\/p>\n

To support this approach, the company is also launching a <\/span>weekly <\/b>newsletter<\/b><\/a> titled <\/b>Reading In<\/i><\/b>, which will explore the overlap between journalism and book publishing and help build a direct relationship with readers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Confidence in Publishing\u2019s Economic Strength<\/span><\/h2>\n

Both founders expressed confidence in the long-term health of the publishing industry, particularly compared to other forms of media. Healy noted that audiences continue to see books as valuable and are still willing to pay for them. Despite rapid changes in how information is delivered.<\/span><\/p>\n

She also pointed to <\/span>audiobooks<\/b> as a growing and promising area that aligns with evolving consumer habits.<\/span><\/p>\n

A Sustainable Model for Creators<\/span><\/h2>\n

Purcell emphasized that book publishing remains one of the few creative industries with a <\/span>stable and sustainable business model<\/b>. He highlighted its ability to compensate creators while fairly maintaining strong connections with audiences.<\/span><\/p>\n

Describing books as a proven and enduring technology, Purcell said the publishing ecosystem continues to outperform many other media sectors by rewarding creativity and supporting long-term engagement between writers and readers.<\/span><\/p>\n
