Central Ridge Library Invites Community to Explore Storytelling and Creative Writing

Personal memories—whether they come from childhood, family life, or major turning points—often shape who we are. Turning those experiences into meaningful stories can feel challenging, especially for first-time writers.

To help community members explore their voices, Central Ridge Library will offer a free “Introducing Storytelling and Creative Writing” workshop on Thursday, January 8, from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

The session is designed to guide participants through the basics of storytelling, showing how everyday experiences can be transformed into compelling narratives. Attendees will be encouraged to examine their stories through various life stages and generational perspectives, helping them discover new ways to express their ideas.

The program welcomes participants of all ages, reinforcing the idea that storytelling is not limited by age or experience. Space is limited, so you must register in advance. Interested individuals can register online, visit the library directly, or call 352-746-6622.

Central Ridge Library is located at 425 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Beverly Hills.
